Criminal Justice (Bachelor's)

Through our comprehensive program, you can gain the skills necessary to maintain law and order, protect life and property, and conduct administration, planning, and research services. It is designed to prepare you for a career in corrections, probation, criminology, forensic sciences, immigration, and security administration.

The program includes a comprehensive study of the national criminal justice system, correctional organizations, and law enforcement agencies. You will learn the nature and extent of crime and delinquency, and the cause and explanation of criminal behavior. Rules of evidence, basic investigative techniques and the philosophy of criminal law are additional areas of study.

You will also delve into specialized areas such as gang activity, drug operations, probation, and criminal justice management. Further areas of interest include: computer crime, victimology, alternatives to incarceration, and interview and interrogations.

The Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice offers a specialized overview of the criminal justice system, preparing graduates for entry-level or middle-management positions in a broad array of criminal justice environments.
