Airport Security Officer
Airport security officers provide frontline security and protection of air travelers, airports and airplanes. They are responsible for preventing dangerous or deadly objects from being transported onto aircraft via cargo, baggage or passengers. Corrections Officer
Corrections officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been convicted of a crime and sentenced to serve time in a jail, reformatory or penitentiary. They maintain security and inmate accountability to prevent disturbances, assaults or escapes, but they have no law enforcement responsibilities outside the institution where they work.
Criminologist

Fish & Game Warden
Fish and game wardens travel by car, boat, airplane, horse and on foot to investigate reports of fish and game law violations and issue warnings or citations. They are authorized to serve warrants, make arrests and present evidence in court actions. They also report on the condition of fish and wildlife in their habitat, investigate hunting accidents and file reports of findings.
Investigator
Investigators conduct private investigations to locate missing persons, obtain confidential information and solve crimes. They conduct surveillance and background investigations, examine crime scenes for clues and submit fingerprints and findings for lab analysis. They also report criminal information to police and testify in court. Investigators can be employed in commercial or industrial establishments for undercover work or work as bodyguards.
Security Officer
Security officers and guards patrol property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal activity. Their job is to protect their employer's investment, enforce laws on the property and deter criminal activity. They may also interview witnesses or victims, prepare case reports, testify in court, monitor alarms and closed-circuit TV cameras, detain or arrest criminal violators and issue traffic violation warnings.
Warden
Most correctional officers are employed in large jails or prisons, watching over approximately one million offenders who are incarcerated in federal and state prisons at any given time. Correctional officers maintain order within the institution, enforce rules and regulations, search inmates and their living quarters, settle disputes between inmates and enforce discipline. They also routinely inspect locks, window bars, grilles, doors and gates for signs of tampering.
